Highlights: Chateaugay (Section X) 2, Shelter Island 0: Shelter Island (16-4) falls in pool play of the NYSPHSAA Class D playoffs, 12-25, 10-25, to Chateaugay (Section X).

Highlights: Shelter Island 3, Haldane (Section I) 1: Claire Read had 21 assists and Stephanie Vecchio added 10 kills and eight blocks for Shelter Island (16-0) in a Class D Southeast Regional final at Bellport. Shelter Island advances to the state championship in Glens Falls. Pool play begins Saturday, November 21 at the Glens Falls Civic Arena.

Highlights: Shelter Island 3, Stony Brook 1: Haley Willumsen had 14 aces, 16 assists and eight digs to lead No. 1 Shelter Island, 25-10, 23-25, 25-14, 25-14, over No. 2 Stony Brook to clinch the Class D title. Stephanie Vecchio had five kills and five blocks and Shelby Willumsen had five kills and 10 digs. Shelter Rock (15-0) will play the winner of Section XI and Section I at Regionals, Friday, Nov. 13 at Bellport High School at 4 p.m.
