Kropp, who is the only coach in program history, started in 1989 and is 300-75 overall and led Sachem East to four county titles. "It means I'm old," Kropp said of reaching 300 career wins. He also has seen participation grow since he started coaching. "There were very few teams playing when we started, but more and more have been added, and next year for 2010, we're going to have a state championship,' Kropp said. "That's big because I would have liked to take some of those county title teams to the state level."
