Mepham finishes its season at 5-4. Garden City scored all 17 of its first quarter points in the last 2:56 of the quarter. DiBona hit a 24-yard field goal at the 2:56 mark, and on the ensuing possession Steve Jahelka intercepted a pass at the Mepham 26. Matt Montgomery threw to Joe Tursi on the next play for a 26-yard touchdown to make the score 10-0. Mepham then fumbled its next play, which was recovered by Chris Stapleford. Three plays later Montgomery scored on an eight-yard run with 34 second remaining. Garden City limited Mepham to 89 total yards, 62 rushing on 25 carries. The Trojans forced five turnovers, four interceptions and a fumble. Two of the turnovers led to scores. Garden City has not given up a touchdown this season, outscoring its opponents 312 to 3. Kaalen Jackson had 13 carries for 60 yards to lead Mepham.
