One year after the Baltimore Bullets took him second overall, Ray Felix was dealt to the New York Knicks in 1954.

Felix, Harry Gallatin and Nat Clifton combined to average more than 30 rebounds per game in Felix's first year with the team. Felix, 24, finished second on the team in rebounds (11.4) and third in points (14.4).

The Knicks made the playoffs twice with Felix -- in his first year with the team, when they were eliminated by the Celtics in the Eastern Division semifinals, and in the 1958-59 season, when the Knicks were eliminated by the Syracuse Nationals in the Eastern Division semifinals.

Felix spent 5 1/2 seasons with the Knicks before being dealt to the Minneapolis Lakers during the 1959-60 season.
